Fran Peterson has over 20 years experience working with individuals

As a therapist, Fran uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Therapy.
Fran specializes in working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
Fran has the ability to work with children while understanding developmental stages which can impact a diagnosis and treatment. Fran is strong in Behavioral Therapy and can help with strategies to deal with the difficulties of tantrums and meltdowns.
Fran has worked in a private school setting working with adolescents who have ADHD and /or dyslexia and understands the ins and outs of I.E.P.’s, goal setting and school behavior.
As for working with adults, Fran has worked in a number of settings including substance abuse, homeless shelters, domestic violence and community mental health, working with adults who suffer from major depression, generalized anxiety as well as other diagnoses. Finally, Fran uses humor in all areas of work, as life can be tough and sometimes you just need to laugh .
